This is Sudan

I am day one in Sudán.   Border crossing was confusing.   The dates on the American visas suggested that they expired prior to our arrival.

We got that figured out and then filled in three more forms. Paid 522 Sudanese pounds. And then waited until we could go.

We had to file out one at a time.  Then we got on the road about 3pm.   It was 32degrees C.  Hot by most standards

We arrived at Wadi Halfa about 4.  The camp grounds are challenges.  The water is cold and showers are dirty.

The cell messaging is very expensive.  I decided I would limit it to one text a day.  And defer uploading blogs until I can find wifi.
