Masai – people

Went into the Masai country with some friends to visit there daughter at a school.   Two ours out on dirt roads.   Way past any village and no infrastructure.

The school is full of children.  Boys in green sweaters and girls  in checkered green skirts.  After meeting the head master we went into a class.    A Canadian named Rob and I.    We were teaching fractions.

I sat outside the classroom and let kids slap my hands.   They came over in groves.   We slapped and drummed on my knees.   We laughed and teased.  Inches from my face the children reached and tugged on my compass.
